Freestyle Kickboxing:

Budokan Merchandise

The exciting new development in competitive fighting. Rob has studied Karate, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Kickboxing, Contact Karate; so what style does he teach his students? FREESTYLE! The common denominator is the rule structure, so anyone from any style can fight another style and not argue about what scores and what doesn't

Freestyle Kickboxing is fast and fluid, with many spectacular techniques being thrown as opposed to just reverse punches and round kicks. We have produced several World champions in the Freestyle divisions, and currently have the World number two, Dale Noble as our top ranked fighter, and Trish Shaw, Lamia Sakly and Yasmin sakly are all top three in the world.

Competitors can fight in
  • Points: Stop start fighting with points awarded for the first valid strike, or:
  • Light continuous, non-stop fighting which is not full-contact, and relies on superior skills to decide the winner.
  • Full contact, does what it says on the wrapper, full on fighting with some safety rules which protect the fighter. A knockout or superior skill wins.

Last year, we formed a new team of our Elite performers, Team Tsunami. A Tsunami is a huge tidal wave, and we come crashing in from the West Coast! We have been out doing demos and competing in our new uniform and letting everyone know we're here.
