Weaponry

The art of weaponry is a deep and intricate study of an ancient skill.

Rob Campbell was World Champion in 1998, and has won numerous British Titles, until retiring in 2002 as 5th in WKA World Championship. His wife and son have also held WKA titles. We pursue Freestyle Weaponry titles as it keeps weapons awareness high. Our true love is the Traditional Kobudo Kata.

Rob & Shirley studied weapnry in Japan at the famous Takenouchi Ryu school, and spent four days studying sword at the famous Musashi Dojo in Miyamoto. They have sought out many famous weapons teachers all around the world to learn from them. They teach only to the highest standards.

Weaponry is too deep for many students, as each student must learn a staff art as well as another weapon to begin with. As they progress they add weapons, so that at Dan grade, they have great skills in two weapons and good skill in at least one other. Our weapons Include, Bo, Sai, Tonfa, Nunchaku and Katana.
